OR Set Up

The standard HCVI Operating Room setup includes a 65-inch high-definition television (HDTV) display connected via HDMI or Bluetooth to a Chromebook. This allows access while operating to the patient's medical record and imaging studies as well as myriad internet resources while operating. Head or surgical loupe-mounted HD video cameras enable live streaming for the purpose of education and training or remote consultation with specialists. Operating microscopes can be used in a similar fashion.
